Becoming a Courier

Dedicated volunteers are the key to success for fundraising organizations. Giving your time to help raise money could save the life of someone across town, or around the world. Becoming a Certified trained Courier is another way to donate your time for those in need. A Trained/Certified Courier will donate their time to travel and pick up the donated stem cells or bone marrow and transport the product to the transplant centre;  for the patient in need. A match can come from anywhere in the world, and it is vital to collect it in time.

Becoming a Trained/Certified Courier is a key part of the process of saving lives. A potential  Courier must now become an approved  Ottawa Chapter member before being eligible to become a certified trained Courier.
